Based on the curricula, supported by activities, this "international culture festival", conducted through the way of "learning through the topic", has not only broadened the students’horizon and enriched their knowledge via the participation, experiencing, cooperation and researching, but also has enabled them to feel the shock of the world’s cultural diversity from different angles and various aspects and cultivated and improved their international understanding abilities.
1. Facilitating Environment Together, Enjoying in Participation
This international cultural festival allows students to actively participate in the creation of cultural activities, collect cultural materials, arrange cultural environment and carry out practical exchanging activities, in which there are division of labor, cooperation, sharing, and experiencing. The festival has image intuitively understand the diversity and diversity of world culture, forming a preliminary awareness of international cultural understanding. This environmental creation is mainly based on students' writing, painting, handwritten newspaper, exploration report, folk custom creative works and international simulation scenes. A total of 54 classes/scenes participated in the selection, and 10 first prizes, 14 second prizes and 30 third prizes were awarded.

2. Language Promotion and Understanding, Ability Competition and Show
Language is the carrier of culture. Strengthening and improving English ability can help students better understand English cultural phenomena and cultural connotation and cultivate the international understanding ability. In this cultural festival, all the children participated in a series of activities such as "English writing contest", "English song and performance contest", "English story-telling contest" and "Handmade English newspaper contest", which further strengthened and improved their English listening, speaking, reading, writing, acting, singing and communication application etc.

3. Sharing International Cultures of a Common World
In the course of "project learning", students from grade 1 to grade 6 respectively studied and explored the international knowledge and cultures in the six aspects of "Chinese and foreign food cultures", "Chinese and foreign folk festivals", "Chinese and foreign etiquette", "Chinese and foreign common sense on geographical and biology", "world-famous cities Expo", and "world-famous universities". They carried out the learning and research of the international knowledge and cultures, conducted competitions in units of grade and class, and guided the students to compare Chinese and foreign cultures to enhance their acknowledgement on Chinese culture at the same time of extending their scope of knowledge.

4. Look at the World from Global Perspectives, Explore the truths through Simulation Practices
In addition to the regular writing, painting, online searching and other learning activities, the children of the first grade also launched "Plasticine Food Creative Works Exhibition" according to the different food cultures of different countries.

The children from grade 5 to grade 6 gave full play to their advantages of high-level English language ability and held a "simulated United Nations Conference" with the theme of "Advocating Waste Classification and Environmental Protection Around the World".
In the process, the children had a preliminary understanding of the operation of multilateral deliberative bodies like the United Nations, learned and understood the impact of the world events on their future and started thinking about the role that they can play in the future.
