The three students from the Doctors Class whose excellent students are aided by our group won the Special Award in the National Makers Competition!

On May 7, 2017, three students of Grade 7 from Shenzhen Longhua Chinese-English Experimental School won the National Makers Special Award in the Fifth "DFRobot Cup" National Primary and secondary school robots teaching and Makers education shows and competitions.

The fifth "DFRobot Cup" National Primary and Secondary school teaching and creating education robot shows and competitions were held from May 5 to 7 in 2017, in Yulong School of Longhua District Shenzhen city. A total of more than 200 school teams from all over the country took part in the competition. Shenzhen Longhua Chinese-English Experimental School selected a team which consists of 3 excellent students to involve in the competition.

 

In this competition all the works from young makers were reviewed by experts. Then they voted on the spot. The work Campus Cleaning Car which was designed by Song Kaiqi, Xu Mingyang and Yao Zunan as No. 1 won the Special Prize! The three students of Shenzhen Longhua Chinese-English Experimental School are all from the Doctors Class whose students are aided by our group. At the same time, the teacher Liu Xiangfei also received the title of National Excellent Teacher.

 

The students have carefully designed and fixed the work that won the Special Award for more than two months. After Shenzhen Municipal Academy screened and recommended in details, it was chosen to be on behalf of Shenzhen to participate in the National Competition.

 

The Campus Cleaning Car is based on the structure of Unmanned Open FEG Vehicle to build the car model. According to the investigation of the school cleaners cleaning the campus leaves and garbage as well as the information about cleaning car that was collected on the Internet, they use Solid Works 3D design software to assemble, and then began to explore the assembly, with the continuous improvement of the final completion.

 

Because Shenzhen Longhua Chinese-English Experimental School is the FEG intelligent unmanned vehicle practice base that was awarded by Shenzhen Univercity,  During the process of the application of engineering structure, 3D design, Arduio programming, laser cutting technology has always got technical guidance from the teachers of Shenzhen University. Besides, the car can support manned, unmanned  and mobile phone remote control. The campus sweeper can realize the campus garbage cleaning, indoor stadium leaves off clean, football field lawn, solar charging and other functions. The multi-functional makers’ work is environment-friendly because it can help to save lots of energy.
