Playing Games, Telling Stories And Being Makers, Our Teachers And Students Revisited Our Sister School in Hong Kong

Shenzhen Longhua Chinese-English Experimental School and the Church of Tan Li Lifen Memorial Middle School are always sister schools. Friendly relation has been maintained for many years. We often carry out education and teaching activities in various forms, which are also rich in content.
March 24, 2017, 17 representatives of teachers and students from Shenzhen Longhua Chinese-English Experimental School once again went to the Chinese Christian Church in HongKong Tan Memorial Secondary School and got involved in exchange activities.
When they arrived at Hong Kong, it was the time that our sister school held English week. Our students quickly took part into the school activities with their students in Hong Kong together. Colorful activities attracted them a lot, including Dobble games, English calligraphy, Spelling Bee game, a speech contest for junior high school and many other interesting English teaching activities. The students from two different schools both striving forward and mutual cooperation. Besides, the exchange not only enhances the interaction between knowledge, but also forms a friendly relationship.
During this exchange, the teacher, who is responsible for The Makers’ Room in Shenzhen Longhua Chinese-English Experimental School, and the teacher, who works in the Science and Technology Room in Hong Kong School, talked a lot about how to create the curriculum and teaching reform of science course, robotics curriculum and other aspects of the in-depth exchanges and discussions. It is good to improve the science and technology activity planning, organization, to enhance the management level of both science and technology, and to guide teachers' professional level, which have a greater role in promoting.
Shenzhen Longhua Chinese-English Experimental school in the practice of "small class, individuation, internationalization", attaches great importance to international exchanges. At present, there are 195 schools of middle and primary school cooperative education units in the United States. The exchange activities in the USA and Hong Kong are good for students to understand the international culture, to improve English ability and to provide a good area to develop their abilities of practicing and creating. More importantly, the students are benefited a lot from the exchange activities.
