But we all need to have the consciousness, the knowledge, and the skill. Now, the teachers and students of Longhua Chinese-English Experimental School all have had such consciousness, learned a lot of such knowledge and mastered such skills!

 Look! The alarm goes off, what is it going on? At 3:10 p.m, On February 22^nd 2017, Shrill siren suddenly in Longhua Chinese-English Experimental School campus sounded. Without being aware of it, all the staff quickly arrived at the designated location in accordance with the plan. More than 1900 students, according to a preset evacuation corridor in 3 minutes and 58 seconds, all safely arrived at the designated location, lined up neatly and reported evacuation soon.

 You're right！This was the school fire safety evacuation drills. After years of practice, all the school staff knew the positions clearly. They can be fast to be in place and familiar with the duties. All students can find the right path and master clear essentials and evacuation skills. Everything seemed to be so standardized, rapid and orderly. It  greatly protect the evacuation in emergency situations, and greatly enhance the safety of the escape rate in the case of dangerous situations.

The lecturer Zhou Ningshan from Shenzhen Fire Prevention Center participated in the exercises. Zhou stressed in his speech that we must ensure the safety of the students when the students in the dormitory use electrical equipments. He also introduced how to escape from the stairs and the proper use of fire extinguishers and other safety knowledge. The end of the exercise, Mr. Zhou spoke highly of the activities. He thought our school was very strict with students and the children knew much about the safety knowledge. Besides, in his opinion, the leaders in our school are always taking it seriously and the scene of evacuation drill was really true to life. At the same time, he said it was responsible performance for the school to continue safety education and training activities. Because of this, we have the protection of all the teachers and students shield and a strong guarantee for the construction of safe campus.

This school fire safety evacuation drills were organized by our school executive vice-president Wang Kaili. The presenter was the leader named Zhu Qifeng from our school office. In addition to emergency evacuation and self-help in dangerous situations, the scene of fire drills and other traditional projects, deputy director of the school of logistics, Comrade Jiang Minghui also carried out safety awareness to all the teachers and students including safety knowledge, skills and other education. In his speech, he reminded the majority of teachers and students, “we should improve the awareness of security, do pay attention to the safe use of electricity, fire, electric shock, and prevent gas poisoning, drowning and other accidents, at the same time, we must strengthen learning safety knowledge, improve self-help, self-care ability, and master the skills to escape in  emergency."

Since Longhua Chinese-English Experimental School started, fire evacuation drill was carried out in each semester. We carry out safety education during the flag raising ceremony, theme class meetings, exercises, the school website, QQ group, WeChat group, expert lectures, a letter to parents for holidays and other forms of channel. Till the start of our school, school safety accident rate is zero, and the fire evacuation drill ensure the safety of teachers and students and create the harmonious campus.
